This event is a Joint Meet which pays series points in both District 16 and District 23. It is also part of the Grand National Hooligan Championship and pays points in their Midwest Division.  It is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association and AMA membership is required.  You must also be a full or daily member of either District 16 or District 23 to enter.

District 23 Membership: www.armca.org/join

This is a Flat Track oval race for Motorcycles, Boonie Bikes and Quads.  It is governed by the AMA Amateur Competition Rulebook and the Supplemental Rules of District 16 and District 23.  Classes will be both Trophy and Cash payout with the winners of the Top Quad and GNHC Final also awarded a Championship Belt for the event.  There will be a belt awarded at both the May 11 and June 22 event.  Check the class listing (entry sheet) for which classes are Cash or Trophy.  Cash class purse will be a minimum of all entry money collected for that class.  Open AA Bike winner will be awarded $500 with balance of purse paid from 2nd on down per chart.  GNHC purse will total $2500 and be awarded via GNHC personnel.  All awards will be given out at the end of the program unless the event is shortened.

We will not be offering any classes for Electric Motorcycles.  All classes are gas-engine only.

Tentative Event Times:  Gates open Noon with Riders Meeting followed by first practice scheduled at 4pm.  Late arrivals:  ACES Racing Co. makes it a point to never turn away riders; however if you sign up after 4pm late fees may be applied.  Don’t be late.  We do not have a curfew but we recognise the travel times involved and will make every effort to conclude the program before 11pm.  Conditions and situations on race day may alter these times.

Rain date for each event is the next day (Sunday) unless otherwise announced.

Rain Plan:  If it becomes a question of not “IF” but “WHEN” it will rain we may go into “RAIN MODE”.  Hopefully the Heats will be done, if that’s all we get in we will score the heats as a final with position awarded by heat finishes with priority going to Heat #1 if Heat elapsed times are not available.  If we get to finals the priority will be classes with multiple heats STARTING with GNHC Hooligans then the rest of the cash payout classes with multiple heats.  Next will be trophy classes with multiple heats then remaining classes as conditions permit.  Any class not completed to a final will be scored by heat finish.  If we are in “Rain Mode” we may drop any infield ceremonies or photos for the sake of saving time.

Refunds will be given up to the start of the first Heat of the program.  After that no refunds will be given for any reason.

Camping is allowed on the grounds of the Speedway for no charge, however arrivals during the car racing event the night before will have to pay the appropriate spectator gate fee.  Gate fees for the Saturday event will be collected Saturday morning.  Race entry will be collected at the signup window with cash or check accepted.  No cards accepted for race entry or gate fee.

ALL PERSONS AGE 17 AND UNDER MUST HAVE A GUARDIAN PRESENT TO SIGN EVENT WAIVER AND ACCEPT MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY.  This is in addition to any annual competition waiver rider may have with them.

Please make sure you review which are the correct classes to receive points in your respective district.  Some classes merge cleanly but in other cases there is a separate D-16 or D-23 class.  It is the riders responsibility to enter the correct class.

Be advised we expect all riders to be aware of the race order and when they are to be in staging.  This event will be running many classes in rapid succession - there will be no waiting for riders who do not show up to staging on time.  Any rider/crew may request a single “2-minute” hold if needed. At the end of the timed 2 minutes the race will progress regardless of situation.
